A singular performance, at the crossroads of digital arts and object theater, exploring our relationship with artificial worlds and the emotions they awaken. Each scene unveils a new facet of the journey of robotino.a, a mechanical creature oscillating between dream and reality, between technology and poetry.
The live unfolds in seven chapters, like waypoints in a sensitive voyage lasting about thirty minutes:
Chapter 01: through the eye of its webcam, robotino.a wanders across a miniature desert, a fragile and intimate landscape.
Chapter 02: its gaze turns toward the audience, brushing against and recognizing them, weaving a thread of faces and images.
Chapter 03: a myriad of memories expands on the screen, fragments of the artists’ lives becoming living matter.
Chapter 04: the space around it comes alive, revealed through a three-dimensional scan that makes the venue itself vibrate.
Chapter 05: a Google Earth journey begins at the site of the performance, traveling to Liège — Ronald Dagonnier’s childhood city — then to São Paulo — where Babi Avélino grew up. Finally, a slow zoom-out reveals the Earth in its infinite distance.
Chapter 06: a planet composed of intimate images forms and breathes with the soundtrack, like an expanding organism.
Chapter 07: back on Earth. Images of destruction in Palestine merge with the dances of Palestinian women. From their movements emerge three-dimensional particles — sparks of memory and resistance.
Une performance singulière, à la croisée des arts numériques et du théâtre d’objets, qui explore notre rapport aux mondes artificiels et aux émotions qu’ils éveillent. Chaque scène dévoile une facette nouvelle du voyage de robotino.a, une créature mécanique oscillant entre rêve et réalité, entre technologie et poésie.
Le live se déploie en sept chapitres, comme autant d’escales dans une traversée sensible d’environ trente minutes :
Chapitre 01 : dans l’œil de sa webcam, robotino.a arpente un désert miniature, paysage fragile et intime.
Chapitre 02 : son regard se tourne vers le public, qu’il effleure et reconnaît, tissant un lien d’images et de visages.
Chapitre 03 : une myriade de souvenirs se déploie à l’écran, fragments de la vie des deux artistes qui deviennent matière vivante.
Chapitre 04 : l’espace qui l’accueille s’anime, révélé par un scan en trois dimensions qui fait vibrer la salle elle-même.
Chapitre 05 : un voyage sur Google Earth commence au lieu du live, rejoint Liège — la ville de jeunesse de Ronald Dagonnier — puis São Paulo — celle de Babi Avélino. Enfin, un lent dézoom dévoile la Terre dans son infinie distance.
Chapitre 06 : une planète composée d’images intimes se forme et respire avec la bande sonore, comme un organisme en expansion.
Chapitre 07 : retour sur Terre. Des images de destruction en Palestine se mêlent aux danses de femmes palestiniennes. De leurs mouvements surgissent des particules en trois dimensions, éclats de mémoire et de résistance.
